Greetings from Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP).
It is a pleasure to announce that a two days professional training program titled Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) on July 17-18, 2026 at BIP Conference Hall organized by Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP).
This training aims to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills to:
- Understand the principles, processes, and regulatory requirements of Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA).
- Assess the traffic and mobility impacts of development and infrastructure projects.
- Apply appropriate data collection, analysis, and forecasting techniques in TIA studies.
- Develop effective mitigation measures to improve traffic operations and road safety.
- Prepare and review TIA reports in line with professional standards and best practices.
- Support evidence-based planning and decision-making for sustainable urban development.
This program will be focused on professionals and stakeholders involved in transportation planning, urban development, infrastructure design, and development control. Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to independently conduct, review, and interpret Traffic Impact Assessments for a wide range of urban development and infrastructure projects.
All BIP members and relevant professionals are invited to register themselves for the training workshop. The Course Fee is BDT 3500/- (Three Thousand Five Hundred) only for each BIP Member (**Subject to up-to-date clearance of Subscription Dues). The Course Fee for Other Professionals is BDT 8,000/- (Eight Thousand) only.
