Notification to Include Name in the Final Voter List
Dear Planner,
We are happy to inform you that Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP) has initiated the process of election for its 17th Executive Board (2026-2027) and the election schedule has already been published.
As per the Election By-Laws 2023, Section 4.1.2, the final voter list will include only those members who have cleared all their subscription fees up to the current year. Therefore, all distinguished members of BIP are requested to clear their outstanding subscription dues by 23 September 2025 through any of the following methods:
1. In person – Cash Payment at BIP Secretariat (Up to 6:00 PM).
2. Bkash Payment – to BIP’s official Merchant Account Number: 01862267624 (Please add a 2% Bkash service charge when paying through this method) (Up to 6:00 PM).
3. Online Payment - by logging into your membership profile on the BIP website (Up to 11:59 PM).
Please note that this is the last date for clearing subscription dues to include one’s name into the final voter list of the upcoming election.
Again, as per the Election By-Laws 2023, Section 3.14D, Members residing outside Dhaka City and having verified profile in BIP Website will be eligible for Online Voting. Therefore, members who are interested to cast Online Vote in the upcoming Election are also requested to complete their profile verification within 23 September 2025. After this timeline, no one can update or verify their profile in BIP Website.
