Seeking Applications for Young Women Leaders Award 2024
Dear Planner,
Greetings from Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP)!
It is a pleasure to let you know that Bangladesh Institute of Planners is going to celebrate Award Ceremony for women planners and young women planners. The aim of the award is to honor and encourage Bangladeshi women planners’ contribution in urban/ regional/ rural planning, management and development.
Main objectives of this event:
1. Engage women planners in urban / regional / rural planning of the country more effectively.
2. Highlight the contribution of women in urban/ regional/ rural planning at national and international level.
3. To inform the needs and role of women in the one-sided development activities irrespective financial, social and cultural capabilities and responsibilities of the country.
4. Ensure combined participation of men and women in urban / regional / rural planning.
On this occasion, Bangladesh Institute of Planners is going honor its women planners through an Award Ceremony. The award will be given in two parts: Women Planners' Award 2024 for outstanding contributions on Academia, Research, Planning Practice, Development Management and Corporate Sector and Young Women Leaders Award 2024 to encourage young women planners for professional and leadership contribution to the society as well as the country.
In this connection, Bangladesh Institute of Planners (BIP) is seeking applications for Young Women Leaders Award 2024 in the attached Application Form. Awardees will be declared after receiving recommendations from the selection committee.
Award Criteria:
1. The applicant must have Active BIP Membership.
2. The age limit will be 28 years (maximum) on the date of deadline.
3. The applicant has to read the guidelines mentioned in the application form carefully and follow all the instructions before submission.
4. Application form has to be submitted through email on bipiwd@bip.org.bd
5. Submission Deadline: 22 April 2024
This award is a token of appreciation for the women planners to encourage and recognize their achievements in different professional fields with the aim in making a positive change in their communities. It is our way of expressing THANK YOU for their great deeds.
